Privacy Policy

Watertown Savings Bank recognizes and respects the privacy of our customers. Your relationship with us is important, and we want you to understand our policies and practices about handling information and the protection of your identity.

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted or required by law.

The Bank’s decision not to share your information means we have OPTED OUT ON YOUR BEHALF and you do not need to take further action.

Nonpublic personal information: Means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

Information That We Collect

We collect, retain and use information about you only for specific business purposes as allowed by law. For example, we collect information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications, and other information that you provide to us, whether in writing, in person, by telephone, or by any other means;
  • Information about your account balance and payment history experience with us, as it may pertain to transactions or relationships with us;

We make every effort to maintain complete and accurate customer and account information. We will investigate any of your concerns and correct any inaccurate information in a timely manner.

For your safety and the safety of your information, you may be asked for additional personal information that can properly identify you to us, or we may ask you to present your concern or request in writing.

Confidentiality and Security of Your Nonpublic Personal Information

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations regarding unauthorized access to your nonpublic personal information.

When we conduct business with third parties, we require vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of nonpublic personal customer information provided to them.

If you are no longer a Watertown Savings Bank customer, our privacy policy and practices will continue to apply to you.
